Public Statements

There were none.

Unfinished Business

There was none.

Old Business:

Review 2005 Amendments to the 1999 Harbor Plan status

Vernon Porter asked Jerry about the plan.  Jerry told him that the changes to the plan are being worked on by Rex McKinsey but it’s being held up for the Fishermen’s Wharf sale.  As soon as that sale is finalized - we’ll dove-tail their recommendations into the Harbor Plan.

New Business:

Waterways Application Nos. W96-8220-N – 63 Commercial Street

The letter from the DEP was dated June 3rd but when Jerry checked his mail box (for the Harbor Committee) on June 11th it wasn’t in there.

Jerry and the committee took exception to Special Condition #2 i.e., if the licensee decides to draw up rules – do we get notified about it?  Also, on Special Condition #5 – the Committee would like further clarification.

Jerry will write to Lou Gitto for clarification on both conditions.

Waterways License Application No. W96-5407-N – License No. 12127

595 Commercial Street

This issuance is O.K. because it’s below the Howland Street buffer zone.

Any other business that shall properly come before the Committee

There was none.

Adjournment happened at 4:50 p.m.

Next HC meeting: Wednesday, July 23 in Town Hall at 4:30 pm

Respectfully submitted,

Evelyn Rogers Gaudiano
