The meeting was called to order at 4:25 p.m.

Review/amend/approve minutes of 9-26, 10-24 and 11-28-07

Motion:  Approve the September 26, 2007 minutes as presented.

Motion:  Approve the October 24th minutes as amended.

Public Statements

There were none.

New Business:

Beach cleanup status with ConCom and purchase of Beach Rake

After a brief update discussion, the following two motions were made:

Motion:  Move to ask the Board of Selectmen (BoS) to spend an amount not to exceed $50,000 from the Provincetown Harbor Access Fund to purchase one surf rake from H. Barber & Sons, Inc. as follows:

          Model 600HD

          Finisher Attachment

          Hot Dip Galvanizing

          Automatic Lubrication System

          Two Year All Inclusive Warranty

          Installation and Training by Factory.

Motion:  Move to ask the BoS to spend an amount not to exceed $50,000 from the Provincetown Harbor Access Fund to purchase one tractor from John Deere Co. as follows:

          5025 Series Model 5525 with cab.

          Ref.  State Aid Contract No. FAC-44.

Any other business that shall properly come before the Committee

There were a few Chapter 91 licenses discussed and the one the Harbor Committee decided to comment on was 595 Commercial Street.  Comments will be accepted until the end of February.

Motion:  The Harbor Committee would recommend that the state look into the possibility of lateral access.

Next HC meeting: Wednesday, February 13 in Town Hall at 4:30 pm

Also, there will be a meeting on water quality on Thursday, February 14th.
