New Business: Rex M. presented a letter to the
Selectmen about proposed mooring rates with no recommendation. This letter gave
an analysis of current rate structure and options including the system
currently in use in Dartmouth. This consists of a $50 Mooring Permit plus a
Waterways Use Permit for Residential and Non-Residential users according to
vessel length. A consensus of the Harbor Committee revealed that members wanted
a one fee system.
Motion: Scholl moved that the HC recommend to the Selectmen the
following:
Boat Class Fee
=< 16 feet $50
> 16 feet $100
> 20 feet $125
> 30 feet $175
> 40 feet $200

Harbor Plan status: Appendix A in progress and will take longer
than expected according to Marty.
Appendix B desperately needs to be revised. Need to provide a
clear indication what each property projects as a public benefit. A minimum
value such as: bench, light and trash barrel. If configuration of the property
doesn’t allow this then these benefits are to be placed at some public location
in town and documented.
Appendix C the formula needs clarification if possible.
Review minutes of 1-3-07
Motion: M. Huey accept minutes of 1-3-07 as typed.

Motion to adjourn: 6:00pm.
Respectfully submitted,
