meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m.

Accept the minutes of January 11, 2006 as typed.

Business:
Chairman agreed to contact Truman Henson and find if
he will attend a HC meeting and discuss the amendments to the 1999 Harbor Plan.
Announcements: The Chairman read a letter to all Town
Boards from the Disability Commission Chair, Toni Schiff, asking that we
consider the needs of the disabled in our planning and decision process. The HC
mentioned that the town landing at Atlantic Ave. is not accessible to the
disabled. Doug T. stated that the HC will have to take the lead with DPW and
Bldg. Commissioner to resolve this problem.
Mooring Regulations: Chair discussed an email sent out by Pier Manager
on proposed new pier and harbor regulation changes. Rex stated HC members will
receive proposed changes via email in a few days. There are no proposed changes
to mooring fees at this time since the state is contemplating changing resident
vs. non-resident fee requirements.
It was requested by HC that the Chair contact the DEP and get a copy of
the 1857 harbor map showing the mean high water line from Steve Mague, CZM.

Doug T. suggested that applicants present plans to HC before submitting
to the DEP in order to get HC input.
Motion: Alice moved to ask the Chair to request an extension and a copy
of the original application and plan.
