Review
status of 2005 Amendments to the Harbor Plan
Copies of responses to DEP’s five answers
in letter to G. Irmer on Nov. 29, 2005 were handed out. These responses were
written by Heather and she recommended that they be sent to Truman Henson, CZM,
along with attachments on Monday by the Chairman. She also stated that the Chairman
mention that the spring town meeting is coming up and we need their input.

hearings on 1-18-06. 1:00pm for The Boatslip LLC, 161 Commercial St. and 1:30pm
for David Martin, 47 Commercial St. to be held in Judge Welsh Room
Rex
M. stated that it appears that the Boatslip deck encroaches on the town
landing/public accessway at Atlantic Ave. He recommended that the Committee
require that the bathrooms at the Boatslip be made available to the public. Rex
will notify Doug Taylor, Building Commissioner, to look into this.

Jerry discussed the FY07 Harbor Committee
budget. He mentioned that based on info from Evelyn Gaudiano, our current
minutes secretary except these minutes which are written by yours truly, the
clerical cost is about $54.00 per meeting. This is figured at 1 ½ hr meetings
and 1 ½ hr typing at $18.00 per hour. The budget proposed is $1080 which is
equivalent to 20 meetings. Jerry suggested that the committee meet twice a
month except during July, August, November and December where it’s once a
month. We could meet more often if members feel like volunteering to take
minutes.
