Chapter 91
Regulatory Framework and Guidance
Heather Bruce
had prepared a new Chapter 91 with the changes which have been approved. Copies
were distributed to all members. It was decided to review the corrections and
changes which had been made. Heather Bruce said that she had tentatively added
Regulation 9.51 to replace the two paragraphs cited from 9.52 and 9.53.
The entire
document was reviewed and some corrections were made. On page 9 it was thought
that a section for Water-dependent uses should be written to go with the
"Standards for Non-Water-Dependent Infrastructure Facilities"
Ann Colbourn
said that the last paragraph on Page 18 of Rex McKinsey’s draft should have
been left in, although Heather Bruce had felt that most of it was redundant and
no longer appropriate. Ann Colbourn said that she would rewrite the paragraph
for the Committee’s approval on Wednesday.
The Committee
also wanted more time to review Regulation 9.51 and the paragraph which Ann
Colbourn had written and distributed on "Guidance to DEP for water related
projects".. The corrected Appendix B also needs to be reviewed. It was
thought that all this could be completed on Wednesday.
