SITE VISIT

PROVINCETOWN HOUSING AUTHORITY

A Site Visit of the Provincetown Housing Authority was called to order by Nancy Jacobsen, Vice-Chair, on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 9:04am at 33 Court Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts.

PRESENT: PHA Nancy Jacobsen, Vice Chair

Pam Parmakian, Commissioner

George Bryant, Commissioner

Molly Perdue, Commissioner ( arrived 9:15am)

Patrick J. Manning, Executive Director

ABSENT: PHA Harry Opsahl-Gee, Commissioner (excused)

OTHER : Doug Taylor, Director of Community Development, Town

The purpose of the meeting was to view the condition of 33 Court Street and discuss options for the property. Board discussed that the repair needs could be done but would be costly, approximately $20,000.00. The Board would like the property back on line and leased up. The Board discussed the possibility of purchasing the property next door that is currently on the market for $699,000.00. The Board reviewed with Doug Taylor a letter he had prepared that indicated the combined properties could accommodate two buildings with 10 bedrooms, this dependant on access to the Town sewer.

M. Perdue motioned for adjournment at 9:30am, seconded by P. Parmakian,

VOTED: Unanimous to adjourn.
