SPECIAL MEETING
PROVINCETOWN HOUSING AUTHORITY

A Special Meeting of the Provincetown Housing Authority was called to order by Margaret Carroll-Bergman, Chair, on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 9:01a.m. in Meeting Room A at 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Nancy Jacobsen, Vice Chair
Arturo Alon, Treasurer
ABSENT: PHA George Bryant, Commissioner (excused)
OTHER : Patrick J. Manning Executive Director, PHA
Keith Bergman, Town Manager
Doug Taylor, Director of Community Development, Town
The purpose of the meeting was a follow up meeting to discuss funding from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, (AHTF) for legal costs incurred by the Town of Provincetown regarding affordable housing at 90 Shank Painter Road, Cumberland Farms Property and 100 Alden Street( Cape End Manor Care Campus).
K. Bergman presented PHA Board members written information and documentation regarding legal costs incurred by the Town. K. Bergman informed the Board that the information was being presented as a preliminary step to the possibility that the Town may request at a future date that the legal costs incurred be reimbursed to the Town from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. K. Bergman informed the Board that the reimbursement request to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund would be made if all other reimbursement sources where exhausted. K. Bergman informed the Board that MHP is working on grants to cover all legal and environmental costs associated with 90 Shank Painter Road.
Motion by A. Alon to support the Town’s request to MHP to seek grants to cover all legal and environmental costs associated with 90 Shank Painter Road, seconded by N. Jacobsen.
VOTED:
Unanimous to support the Town’s request to MHP to seek grants to cover all
legal and environmental costs associated with 90 Shank painter Road.
A. Alon motioned for adjournment at 9:36am, seconded by N. Jacobsen,
VOTED: Unanimous to adjourn.
