COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE

A Joint Meeting of the Provincetown Housing Authority and the Community Preservation Committee was called to order by Margaret Carroll-Bergman, Chair, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 9:07a.m. in the Judge Welch Hearing Room at 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts.

There being no Quorum for the PHA nor CPC, the meeting was not held

 

The Board Members present discussed:

            The need for the mission and goals of the CPC and PHA to be complimentary and not conflicting. CPC’s mission and goals are to fund affordable housing that provides for individuals and families with a mixed income range. PHA mission is to provide low income affordable housing. PHA informed CPC that the PHA is exploring developing a non-profit development corporation in order to develop housing that is 100% rental in perpetuity that is affordable for individuals and families from mixed income brackets.
