AND

LOCAL HOUSING PARTNERSHIP

DECEMBER 10, 2004

 

A joint  meeting of the Provincetown Housing Authority and the Local Housing Partnership was called to order by Margaret Carroll-Bergman, PHA Chair and Arturo Alon, LHP Chair on  Friday, December 10, 2004 at 4:06 pm in the Judge Welch Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts.

The Joint Meeting was held to review and discuss a request by Provincetown Town Manager, Keith Bergman for $6,347.92 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The request was to seek funding for the Affordable Housing Specialist role/responsibilities within the position of Assistance Town Manager. The Joint Meeting of the two Boards and the request was in accordance with the Act that established the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

 

Topics discussed:

·        The roles and responsibilities of the Assistant Town Manager that would qualify for funding from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund for “Affordable Housing Specialist.

·        identifying the roles and responsibilities of PHA, LHP and the Town

·        identifying task/needs for an  Affordable Housing Specialist

·        job description for Assistant Town Manager position

·        position of Assistant Town Manager was approved by the Board of Selectman

·        the request is for funding for February 2005 to June 2005

 

 

Local Housing Partnership member, Tim Hazel motioned that the Local Housing

Partnership vote to recommend to the Provincetown Housing Authority the request by the Town Manager for $6,6,347.92 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund for the funding of the Affordable Housing Specialist roles & responsibilities within the position of Assistant Town Manager, seconded by Teri Nezbeth.

 

                                                            VOTED: 3 yes to 0 no

 

The Provincetown Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will vote on the request by Town Manager, Keith Bergman at their next regular meeting scheduled for January 5, 2005

 

 

Motion by A. Alon to adjourn meeting, seconded by T. Nezbeth,

meeting adjourned at 4:45 pm
