Julie Cataldo submitted a letter of resignation as Rescue Steward effective 7/1/2006.
Motion: Alexander motioned to accept Cataldo’s resignation; Wolf seconded the motion,
All in favor.
Rescue Stewards position will be posted.
Application received from Ed Fallas. Fallas is certified as an EMT, has a business in town and lives here during the summer months. Fallas approved for Unpaid Auxiliary status since he only lives in town for 8 months.
Elias J. Martinez voted into the Rescue Squad.
Motion: Wolf motioned to approve Martinez’s membership into the Rescue Squad; Roderick seconded the motion, All in favor.
Alan Felton submitted a letter of resignation from the department effective 6/30/06.
Motion: Alexander motioned to accept Felton’s resignation, Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.
Specifications of new Rescue Vehicle discussed. Luciene from (Bert’s Auto Body) will draft up specs similar to rescue vehicles 196 and 197.
November 2007 is the deadline for the submission of Sprinkler system installation plans for establishments in town.
Firefighter I & II Course will be held at Barnstable Fire/Rescue Training Academy September 5th to December 9, 2006. This is the only program for FY2007.
Application for membership received from Chris Siar.
Motion: Menangas motioned to approve Siar’s application, pending his physical exam; Roderick seconded the motion, All in favor.
Motion: Roderick motioned to adjourn the meeting; Menangas seconded the motion, All in favor.
