Meeting of the Board of Fire Engineers

Members of Engine Company 1 will celebrate Captain Ronald Whites 50th year on the Provincetown Fire Dept. The event will be held on May 9th at the Lobster Pot Restaurant. A letter of thanks will be presented to White from the BoFE. Members from 1 & 2 & the Board of Fire Engineers will attend.
Election of Rescue Officers Vote recorded: Captain 10 for Justin White
1 for Tom Roda
Lieutenant 10 for Monica Himes
1 for Justin White
Motion: Wolf motioned to approve the vote of the rescue squad for Captain and Lieutenant; Alexander seconded the motion, All in favor.
CPR/AED training discussed. Balance of funds in AED Article, $2,252.55 will be used for re-certification training needed. Wolf will contact Instructor Monks re setting up the training.
Motion: Alexander motioned to go forward with the training; Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.
Applications for Rescue Standby reviewed and approved by the board.
Motion: Alexander motioned to accept 26 of the 27 applicants for the Rescue Standby positions; Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.
The Town Clerk will swear in members present at the next rescue meeting.
House #5 Lt. Basine submitted House Reports.
House #4 Application for Junior membership received from Bruce Henrique. House members in favor of Henrique as a Junior member.
Motion: Menangas motioned to accept the house vote and approve Bruce Henrique as a Junior member of #4, pending completion of the Parental consent form; Alexander seconded the motion; All in favor.
House #1 Luis Ribas has completed his drivers training on Engine 190. Lt. Vaughn Cabral approved the training.
Fire Dept. Portable Radio issued to Marilyn Monks will be returned to FD. Monks resigned her position as Rescue Engineer.
Motion: Alexander motioned to adjourn the meeting; Menangas seconded the motion; All in favor.
