Incident Command System Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, at 9:00 a.m. at the West Barnstable Fire Department.
Portuguese Festival Parade will be held on June 26, 2004 at the Cape Inn starting at 5 p.m. Invitation received to participate.
A.J. Quirk will be contacted and advised Antique truck must be completed ASAP.
Meeting with Finance Committee on HeartSafe Program Article will be held on Friday, March 26th at 8 a.m. Chief Trovato will attend.
Barnstable County Fire Chief’s Association Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 25th, 9:00 a.m. at Cape Cod Hospital.
Officers Meeting (mandatory) will be held on Wednesday, March 31st at 7:30 p.m. at the Main Station.
Memo will be sent to all Captains advising them that no stereo equipment will be placed on fire vehicles during parades.
Letter will be sent to MLS Communications (Michael Smith) requesting the base radio be delivered to the Main Station and installed ASAP.
Mark Duarte will instruct CPR and First Responder classes in May.
Mutual Aid Running Cards to be completed by the Chief and the secretary.
Accountability Tags to be completed.
Hazmat program discussed. John Garren will be contacted re the Hazmat course held at Truro Fire Department.
James Roach will be sent a letter asking what his intentions are due to his lack of interest as a member of Ladder Co. 192.
Glenn White will be retiring after 24 years, effective April 1, 2004.
Motion: Roderick motioned to accept Glenn White’s retirement from Ladder Company 192 effective April 1, 2004; Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.
Jeremy Felton accepted as an auxiliary member of Ladder Company 192 effective April 1, 2004.
Motion: Roderick motioned to accept Jeremy Felton as an Auxiliary member of Ladder Company 193, effective April 1, 2004; Menangas seconded the motion, All in favor.
Inventory report submitted.
Waiting for new parts (chains that hold caps and diamond plated axe holders) from
EVM.
Letter will be sent to Michael Benjamin asking what his intentions are due to his lack of interest as a member of Engine Company 193.
