Meeting of the Board of Fire Engineers

 

March 26, 2003

 

 

 

 

 

Meeting convened at 7:50 p.m.

 

 

Members present:         Michael S. Trovato, Chief

                                    Warren Alexander, Deputy

                                    Gerard Menangas

                                    Adam Wolf

 

 

Voice Mail and Two (2) Telephones needed at Main Station discussed.

 

Motion:  Alexander motioned to order two phones and voice mail thru Barr Stanton,

               Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.

 

 

DSL has been connected and networked at the Main Station.

Hard drive for Tiger computer in the Deputy Chief’s office is shot and needs to be replaced.  Cost of parts to replace the hard drive are $79.

 

Motion:  Alexander motioned to have the hard drive replaced by Gary Delius; Wolf                                   

                seconded the motion; All in favor.    

 

 

Disposal of old beds and couches discussed.

 

Motion: Alexander motioned to call Dandy Dingers to remove and dispose of the beds

               and couches; Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.

 

 

Meadow Road Affordable Home Ownership Development discussed.  Plans must be reviewed.

 

Motion: Alexander motioned that in the future if the Department of Community                       

Development wants the fire department to respond to new developments they should provide the board with a full size set of plans and a site plan Wolf seconded the motion, All in favor.

 

Motion: Menangas motioned to request a full set of site plans on the Meadowview       

               Heights Development from the Dept. of Community Development; Wolf                        seconded the motion; All in favor.

 

 

Public Safety Equipment Grant discussed.  Thermal Imaging Camera and Hose Markers have been ordered from Ed Lyons Fire Equipment.
