Meeting convened at 7: 50 p.m.

Chief’s Report:
Specifications for New Engine 193 reviewed by the board.
Vehicle specs will be submitted to the Town Manager to be advertised for bids.
Board Meeting will be scheduled and posted for February 26, 2003.
EMS Radio to be installed in new rescue vehicle 196 discussed. Barnstable County techs will be contacted for suggestions on the placement of the EMS radio in the new vehicle.
Rescue Standby positions will be advertised in March.
Application for membership received from Keegan Morris. Will be forwarded to House #1.
NSTAR will instruct a class on Electrical Safety for the Firefighter & the EMT on March 2, 2003 at the Main Station. Truro will also be invited. 3 OEMS credits will be given for the class.
Hallway upstairs will be tiled instead of being re-carpeted. Estimate received from Marsh Winds for $3,181.25. Building & Grounds will be asked if they could do the job.
CPR Instructors course discussed. Barry Pina will be contacted re his cost for instructing the class and the number of students needed in a class.
Medical note received from health practitioner at OCHS re Lisa King Silva. Silva is able to return to driving on 1/29/03 and return to full duty, excluding heavy lifting or carrying, on 2/3/03.
Letter of resignation received from Meredith Allen. Allen resigned from the Rescue Squad, effective 1/1/03.
Boot/Shoe Brushes (Scrusher’s) to clean off boots/shoes before entering the main station will be ordered. Three will be ordered from Northern Tool & Equipment Co.
