The meeting was called to
order by Chair Bill Dougal at 7:00 P.M.
Those present were Chairman Bill Dougal, Jennifer Bedard, Gail Enos, Sue Buerkel, Alice Foley, Irene Rabinowitz, Gordon Siegel and Rick Holland and Robert Vetrick. Ruth Gilbert was excused.
I. Chair Bill Dougal called the meeting because some members expressed concern about the Finance Committee’s recommendation for STM-11. (Library move to Heritage Museum) Gordon Siegel made a motion to reconsider STM-11, Jennifer Bedard seconded and it passed unanimously.
Discussion about the ramifications of approving this article ensued and some members expressed that they felt that the Finance Committee should take a stronger stand on this issue. After discussion, Robert Vetrick made a motion to reverse the previous vote and not recommend this article. Alice Foley seconded and a 7-2-0 vote was taken to not recommend this article.
II. Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
