Elaine Anderson, Chairman, Community Preservation Committee

Call to Order:

5:08pm

Order of business:

Ms. Elaine Anderson, Chairman of the Community Preservation Committee continued her presentation. A energetic discussion followed centered around the issue of the kind of precedence it would set to grant money to private developers instead of providing loans.

MOTION: To not recommend Annual Town meeting Article 9, Community Preservation Committee FY 2008 budget, Borrowing item a.) $732,000 for a 12 unit community housing project to be located at 12 Sandy Hill Lane. But to ask the Voters to set the precedence they prefer on Town meeting Floor.

Motion: David Bedard, Second: Ed Gage; Vote: 7,0,0

MOTION: Adjourn the meeting of FinCom at 5:30pm.
