Members Present: Ruth Gilbert, Chair, Matthew Clark,  Mark Leach, Robert Vetrick, Walt Winnowski,  Ed Gage, Tom Thurston and Ginny Ross

Members Excused: Gail Enos and Sue Buerkel

Also Present: Keith Bergman, Town Manager     

 

Meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m.

 

Approval of Minutes

Mark Leach made a motion to accept minutes of February 3, 2005. Robert Vetrick seconded and it passed 6:0:2.

Robert Vetrick made a motion to accept minutes of February 7, 2005 as amended. Walt Winnowski seconded and it passed 6:0:2.

 

FY 2006 Budget Review Hearings con’t.

525-Cape End Manor Budget (Dennis Anderson, CEO)

Detailed discussion ensued.

Brian Shea (CEM, Shop Steward) spoke in support of the deal with NEDA.

Robert Vetrick made a motion to approve budget of $2,705,931. Ed Gage seconded and it passed 8:0:0.

 

Meeting adjourned at 11:50 a.m.

Meeting re-convened at 1:00 p.m.

 

Gary Delius arrived at 1:20 p.m.

             

Division VI-School Budgets (Dr. Colette Trailor-Supt., Betty White, Business Mgr., Terese Nelson, Molly Perdue and Deb Trovato-School Committee and Tony Teso, VMES Principal and Special Ed Director)

300-Provincetown Public Schools

.8% decrease

-increase in fuel costs was discussed

-student enrollment numbers were discussed

-details of budget were discussed

Matthew Clark made a motion to table budget vote. Robert Vetrick seconded and it passed 9:0:0.
