Present: Chair Ruth Gilbert, Vice Chair Sue Buerkel, Robert Vetrick, Matthew Clark, Tom Thurston, Mark Leach, (Sail Enos and Ann Maguire. Absent: Ginny Ross

Also present School Committee members (Molly Perdue, Terese Nelson, Deb Travato and Frank Wills). Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Colette Trailor and

Tony Teso, Principal. VEM, Director of Sp. Ed. Meeting was called to order at 8:OOAM by Ruth Gilbert

Motion was made by Mark Leach to go into Executive Session. Seconded by

Ann Maguire and it passed 8:0:0.

Motion was made by Robert Vetrick to allow Town Moderator and Town

Manager to attend Executive Session. Matthew Clark seconded and it passed

8:0:0.

Executive Session called at 8:05AM. Discussion ensued Gail Enos and Sue Buerkel excused themselves at 9:OOAM. Tony Teso excused himself at 9:12AM.

Motion was made by Ann Maguire to go out of Executive Session. Seconded by Robert Vetrick and it passed 6:0:0.

Matthew Clark made a motion to reopen school budget (300) and amend Fin Corn's recommendation to $4,160,330 ($25,000 reduction) based on expected costs in Special Education disputes. Ann Maguire seconded and it passed 5:0:1.

Based on progress made in cutting costs and adding revenue to the budget,

Ruth Gilbert suggested revisiting Public Works budget where personnel cuts

were made.

Robert Vetrick made a motion to revisit budget 422 Highways, Ann Maguire

seconded and it passed 6:0:0.

Robert Vetrick made a motion to adopt BOS request of $288,236. Ann

Maguire seconded and it passed 6:0:0.
