The Chairman Steve Melamed called the meeting to order at 10:05 AM.

Bill Dougal made Motion to accept August 9 and 23 minutes

Public Statements

Bonnie Campbell asks question as to what is being done with respect to job creation for year-round residents. Bill Dougal gives brief explanation of economic sectors to build solid year-round economy.

Keith says that the BOS has adopted 5000 gallonage pool recommendation and states that there may be gallons available on Commercial Street as soon as November.

Bill Dougal states that community housing and economic development should be merged together and not have two different groups of consultants.

Henry Tuttle continues facilitating planning and development – review of goal statements 1 & 2. Hunter suggests incentive for year-round businesses.

Update from Keith regarding consultant selection (Michael Caine from Mt. Auburn).

Hunter made Motion to recommend to obtain Mt. Auburn for CCEC study provided that the EDC get the opportunity to meet Michael Caine.
