The Chair Steve Melamed called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM.
Steve reads through
all minutes from past meetings and takes comments and opinions.
Bill Dougal made Motion to accept and finalize all minutes

Members agree to keep the Role Definition of the EDC as a work in progress
5-year plan for tourism tying in all various CS based groups, including but not limited to, CC, PPG, ECO, Gov, VSP, EDC, Cultural

All organizations should come together to come up with strategic plan on how to allocate money to be good for the entire community. Surveys can be taken and data should be collected and shared with all organizations.

Find out if different organizations are interested in being included in joint meetings/retreats
2. Healthcare
In adjunction with:
NEDC – CC – the driving force. Is Deaconess gong to pre-sell?
CC Healthcare – establishing greater presence
Outer Cape – looking to build new facility

Have a joint meeting with Peter Vorrelli, Cheri Mittenthal, and Therese Nelson to discuss:

b. Campus Provincetown
c. Adult Education
d. Coastal Studies
4. Affordable
Housing
Invite CPC for a joint meeting on November 29, 2005 to discuss:
a. $5.2M+
b. Linkage to Education
c. Mixed Use – site development/retail
d. Land to Education – commercial use of land on Shankpainter
Next meeting agenda will include further discussion on planning joint meetings on Waterfront and Budget.
$150 is requested to be incorporated into the budget for PTV, $5,000 for secretarial, $25,000 for grants, $10,000 for forums/retreats, plus money for seminars/training and materials/references/equipment for an estimated $70-80K
