New Business:

Open Spaces: Brian and Amber are working together to address accessibility issues when developing Land Conservation Trust  Projects at Shankpainter Wildlife Sanctuary and Nicky’s Park on Harry Kemp Way.

DC reports Shankpainter Wildlife Sanctuary is problematic for wheelchairs access secondary to materials used to create the walkway; Wheelchairs sink into the ground. Slope at end up to platform is steep. Bench heights are low. Designated Parking Space is not properly designed. DC recommends a signage indicating the degree of accessibility.

Community Issues:

Local Salon asks for input from DC member regarding providing ramp for bathroom access for their customers.

Euro Café denies patron with seeing-eye-dog access. DC will follow up with informing Patron where they can reference the Americans Disability Act. And DC will pass this on to VSB to follow-up with the Euro Café Owner.
