Members Absent: Jo-Ann DiOrio,

Others Present: Marjory Steinberg, Jamia Kelly

-Approval of the minutes of the meeting from May 9, 2007 Meeting

Old Business

-P.S.A. development by Marjory Steinberg

-Brochure update- mapping will be electronically updated

Beach Wheelchair still needs to be chosen and eminence plan needs rental procedure before submitting to VSB for funding. Firehouse #2 would be an ideal storage location.

New Business

-Town Manager asks Doug to provide ADA update for Town; includes assessment of Town Properties for ADA compliance and program accessibility.

-Disability Commission will continue to meet thru summer months

-Terry Horowitz will be leaving Disability Commission.

- Jamia Kelly is considering Commission Seat

-Correspondence from individuals in community regarding poor accessibility in front of Art House with brick/pebbles; Michelle will follow-up with bldg. owner and Bldg. Commissioner.

-Letter from Michael Fernandes re: accessibility to building across from Spiritus, Doug will follow thru. Curb-cut at Cumberland Farms on Shankpainter is too steep.

-Picnic table at Herring Cove near snack bar moved for renovation. Wave and Lou Ann will follow-up.

-Owner of Sal’s complaint of no Designated HP near his restaurant.

-Doug requested copy of Town Map with Designated HP spaces. Wave will get copy from Dana at DPW.
