Meeting Minutes

Old Business:

Review of Draft FY 08 VSB Grant Application: It was determined that a quantity of 3,000 brochures would be printed for the 2007 wheelchair accessibility brochure, with a total request for funding of $2,500. Terry suggested placing a notice in the Banner and on websites soliciting guesthouses that are wheelchair accessible to make themselves known in order to be included in the brochure. Michelle will approach realtors asking them to start listing accessibility. All locations in the brochure will need to be re-visited with specific criteria regarding bathrooms, steps, wheelchair accessibility, walkways, etc. Update concluded in March with a printing in April. Toni moved to can the canisters. Seconded by Susan; Approved 5-0. A fundraiser to raise approximately $250 - $500 after July 1^st was discussed to help offset the cost of brochure printing.

Disability Workshops: Possible weeklong workshop for disabled discussed. Michelle will ask Wave about other potential grants in this area.
