Members Present:

Tony Schiff, Terry Horwitz, Doug Johnstone, Laurie deSousa Ken Russo and Jo-Ann DiOrio

Others: Selectman Sarah Peake

Meeting called to order at 10:05AM Minutes approved and accepted.

Old Business:

Letter to Betty from Tony

Ken checked Shankpainter site, question where ramp begins.

New Business:

Sarah Peake discussed new Manor, answered questions. Shankpainter site:

Open space committee want to meet with Disability Commission. Tony will speak with Celine.

Doug drafted memo to Celine, thanking her and asking some questions.

Discussion on railing and possible rope.

Laurie brought up Lope's square complaint, side walk near Surf Club not wide enough for wheel chair. Complaint needs to be filed.

Still looking for new people, call into Jim Pipilas and letter to Michael Fernandez

Laurie questioning name of Disability Commission possible to Accessibility Commission.

Laurie reviewed mail.

Jo-Ann will call Beau Pillion re: joining Disability Commission.

Board of Selectmen. Goal setting appropriate meeting places other then Caucus Hall.

Question about wheel chairs for beach and how to get them. Doug will call D.P.W.
