Meeting Minutes

March 16, 2005

Members Present:

Toni Schiff, Laurie deSousa, Jo-Ann DiOrio and Doug Johnstone.

Absent:

Betty Villari, Terry Horwitz, Ken Russo.

Meeting called to order at 10:15 am.

Minutes approved and accepted.

Old Business:

Laurie said she spoke with Betty Villari. Betty intends to resign from the Disability Commission due to changes in her schedule.

Laurie read the items up for consideration at the 2005 Annual Traffic Hearing on March 24^th.

Toni informed Commission that she will wait to put her concerns in writing regarding treatment at a recent Conservation Commission hearing due to issues pending.

New Business:

Discussion of Special Town Meeting Article 1: Conveyance of 2.2-acre Care Campus Site to New England Deaconess Association.

Motion to recommend STM Article 1 made by Jo-Ann DiOrio, Seconded by Laurie deSousa. Vote to recommend STM1 4-0-0.

Discussion of Annual Town Meeting Article 19: General By-Law Amendment: Tree & Shrubs: Height Restrictions for Traffic Safety.

Motion to recommend ATM Article 19 made by Jo-Ann DiOrio, seconded by Laurie deSousa. Vote to recommend 4-0-0.

Motion to adjourn at 10:40 am made by Doug, seconded by Laurie.
