Provincetown Disability Commission Meeting Minutes October 8, 2003

Members Present: Toni Schiff, Terry Horwitz, Greta Holman,

Pat Farwell, Jo-Ann DiOrio

Members Absent: Jim Pipilas, Betty Villari

Meeting called to order at 10:30AM in Judge Welsh Room.

Minutes of September 3, 2003 reviewed. Greta moved to approve minutes, second by Jo-Ann. All approved.

Old Business - Greta reported: All shuttle buses have wheel chair lift.

Greta reported: Sandwich has policy for ticketing, but has fallen by wayside. Dennis faxed form from state to put on cars but need waiver from by-laws to put fliers on cars. Greta read from Dennis form.

Jo-Ann recommended outreach to let people know about accessibility. _

Office on Disability has a community program that Greta or Jo-Ann will follow up on.

New Business - Someone ticketed by doubling up in handicap space, and has asked for more spaces. Greta moved for Don Richards to come to the next Meeting, seconded by Pat Farwell. All approved.

Next Meeting - November 5, 2003 at 10:30AM.

Motion to adjourn by Jo-Ann, seconded by Terry. All Approved.
