Meeting called to order in Judge Welch Room, Town Hall : 4:20 pm.

Minutes from December Meeting were read and accepted.

Old Business:
New Commission Member:
Betty Villari nominated Jim Pipiles for a seat on the commission.
Seconded by Terry Horiwitz.
Voted and Accepted.

Stephan Nofield gave a brief explanation of responsibilities of the
Disability Commission.

Discussion of what to included in The Annual Town Meeting.

Discussion on whose responsibility it is oversee and maintain the Crosswalk
Cone Markers .

New Business:
Discussion to invite Provincetown Chief of Police to the next Commission
Meeting to address:

Crosswalk Cone Markers
A. How to regulate them.
B. Who is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and
replacing.
C. Could Stop Signs help if placed at crosswalks.

Motion by Terri Horwitz to ask the Chief to attend the next Commission
meeting.
Seconded by Betty villari.
Voted and Accepted

Jim Pipilas offered to research how other towns use and deal with issues
concerning crosswalks.

Questions for future discussion:
Who is the proper authority for questions of access?
Who has responsibility to oversee access problems?
Is a combination of the Disability Commission and the Dept of Regulatory
Management needed?
