Before the next meeting the disapproved and approved grant applicants will receive letters, accordingly. The rejection letters will go out Nov 3-4, 2004 and the approved grant letters will be mailed out no sooner than two weeks later, so applicants wanting to appeal the board’s decisions will have time, for reconsideration.
Old Business: Art in Public Places: Phase 2: Waterfront Park. Daniel Kells e-mailed Steve Melamed (at the last meeting) to find out the time frame for when Phase 2 will start. The response was that it will be discussed at the next VSP meeting.
Cherie Mittenthal stated that the next Cultural Council meeting will be planned at a later date.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15.
Respectfully submitted,
Valerie Gholson
