Minutes of the Committee meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2006

Attending: John Thomas (chair), Kerry Adams (vice chair), Paul Tasha, Barbara Prato

Excused: Pat Patrick

Meeting called to order at 5:00PM.

The minutes of the January 26, 2006 meeting were approved as amended.

A discussion was held about the public comment period for the Dune Shack report submitted by Bob Wolfe to the Cape Cod National Seashore.

A motion was made to have John Thomas draft a letter from the committee to submit to the Board of Selectmen supporting the findings of the Wolfe report and to include positive comments about local entities that continue dune shack management when the traditional chain has been broken.

It was also reported that the town Conservation Committee and Shellfish Committee will be following up on the tidal flow issues in Mill Pond.

The next committee meeting will be on March 7 at 5PM.
