MINUTES of the Committee Meeting on Thursday September 30, 2004

Provincetown Town Hall, Judge Welsh Meeting Room

Attending: Kerry Adams (vice-chair), Patrick Patrick, Don Richards, John Thomas (chair)

Excused: Barb Prato (alternate) (excused)

Meeting called to order at 5:10 pm.

Committee member Don Richards stated that he is moving to Florida in mid-December 2004 and will no longer be able to be a Committee member.

The Committee discussed the upcoming CCNS Endless Summer conference at Provincetown town hall on October 6-8. John Thomas stated that he would attend as much of it as he can.

The Committee discussed the ongoing hunting environmental impact statement progress.

The Committee discussed the dune shack policy, the traditional cultural property and traditionally associated people studies, and related CCNS actions.

The Committee discussed the proposed article at the upcoming special town meeting that seeks to ban hunting in CCNS

The Committee discussed the emerging issue of wind power.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:35 pm.
