Meeting Minutes: March 19, 2003

Public Attending: Paul Tasha

The meeting was called to order by John Thomas at 5:05pm.

The minutes from the 1/03/03 were read as amended. John Thomas moved and Kerry Adams seconded the motion that the minutes be approved. The vote to approve the minutes was unanimous. The minutes from the 1/30/03 meeting were read as amended. Barb Prato moved and KC Smith seconded the motion that the minutes be approved. The vote to approve the minutes was unanimous.

After discussion, the committee decided to send a letter to the Board of Selectmen asking it to request CCNS for an enlargement of the March 25, 2003 deadline, for public comment on the CCNS Advisory Commission Dune Shacks Subcommittee “Findings” dated January 2001. The letter would ask that the public comment period be enlarged to May 6, 2003. Barb Prato made the motion that the letter be sent, Kerry Adams seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously.

After committee discussion, Barb Prato moved that the committee vote not to recommend Article 18 (“Hunting within Cape Cod National Seashore”) of the Town Warrant at the annual Town Meeting. Kerry Adams seconded the motion and the vote carried unanimously.

The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, April 17^th, at 500pm at Town Hall in the Judge Welsh Room.

There being no further business, John Thomas moved to adjourn the meeting. KC Smith seconded the motion, the vote to adjourn was unanimous and the meeting was adjourned at 5:50pm.
