WORK SESSION

Chair Dennis Minsky called the Public Meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Landbank Property Sign Project:

The Commission discussed the language that would appear on the property signs at the Shank Painter Pond Sanctuary, Whistle Path Woods, Fox Run and Nicky’s Park. Lynne Martin presented mock-ups of the signs with language the Commission previously discussed. After much discussion the language was decided for each sign. Lynne Martin will correct the language on the mock-ups and prepare them for submission.

The Commission also discussed materials and colors for the property signs. There will be 6 property signs: two at 36” by 24” and four at 18” by 24”. It was decided that pressed urethane on PVC backing with dark green lettering on a beige background (as per the “Eastham” sign) including white trim around the edges would be used for all of the signs.

Dennis Minsky moved to use pressed urethane on PVC backing for the signs with dark green lettering on a beige background (per the “Eastham” sign) with the white trim, Jack McMahon seconded and it was so voted, 4-0.

DISCUSSION:

2 COMMERCIAL STREET: The Commission discussed the property.

Dennis Minsky moved to direct the Conservation Agent, Brian Carlson, to write up wording to the effect that the Conservation Commission supports the referral of the 2 Commercial Street project, in whatever state it is in, to the Cape Cod Commission, Jack McMahon seconded and it was so voted, 4-0.

ADJOURNMENT: Dennis Minsky moved to adjourn at 8:45 P.M. and it was so voted unanimously.
