Present: Carol Pugliese, Richard Silver, Marjorie Steinberg and Betty ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Villari

Guests: Lew Aabye, Eileen Kennedy, and Sharon Lynn

 

Update:

Lou Ann Bowen is going sorting through things and finishing some editing.  Sharon stated that she needs clear direction and should have until 5PM on Wed.

 

Public Statements: 

Lew Aabye: Would like to see a permanent video installation to record meetings in Town Hall but this function would be separate from running PTV.  The equipment should not be moving from location to location (i.e. Town Hall to PTV)

 

Betty Villari raised a point of order – people who work for agency cannot make public statements.

 

Minutes and Correction to minutes:

 

Eileen Kennedy had corrections to the minutes of July 6th

            Page Two:

    • should state July 2006 instead of October 2006
    • Staff in last 6 months – Eileen brought in the contract for $3000.00 (less                                                production cost) from the National Seashore.  This was done in                                                 spring/summer 2005 and is in   the Town Gift Fund
    • One Thousand dollars was promised by David Nichlou

PTV Update

Lew  Aabye – update since last meeting (July 6, 2007)

            Taking inventory  and cleaning up

            Carol Pugliese asked for log up to this point – none is available.  She then asked            Lew for written log from this time forward     This will serve as a record for                            Sharon Lynn

            The commission wants to keep track of every one who comes into PTV.  Log                           sheets will be created and people will be asked to fill them in.

            He will check the mail

            Shot the harbormaster video with Richard Silver

He waited for Lou Ann Bowen to come to PTV.  She showed up at 11:30 – There isn’t a         lot of paperwork to figure out what is Lou Ann Bowen’s and what belongs to           PTV.  There aren’t part numbers on all of the items.

No way of making a paper trail of defective equipment.

A system should set up to catalog every thing at PTV (i.e. mini DV tapes – there            should be a label on the tape with a serial number.  That way they can be t     traced through the system. Ten to fourteen tapes should be reserved for        student use only.  The tapes can be erased and used again several times

Film and process footage – blank footage at the end of a shot can be used for    another project

Upgraded the Two iMacs – the one on the left has OS 9.2 and Mac office

            The one on the right has OS 10.  People will sign in with the guest login

            Lew has an administrator password

The PC will be used only by John Davidson.  Marjorie is looking for an older licensed copy of Quickbooks.

Move the PC – leave office –

He is going to pick up Mike Dubour’s equipment at Pat Schultz

Dan was asked to bring in his camera

 

Marjorie Steinberg thanked Lew for his help.

 

Carol Pugliese stated that PTV needs to have control the equipment.  Also we need to call Lou Ann Bowen and tell her that that by 5:00 P.M tomorrow she needs to  pack up what we know what is hers and to remove it.

 

Suggestions were stated as to how to get this accomplished

            Eileen Kennedy asked how it will be communicated.  It should be delivered to her

            Lew asked if anyone be willing to drive her possession to her apartment since she                                   didn’t have a car.   Eileen volunteered

            Betty Villari wanted us to check with Sharon – on what would help expedite                              the move

                        Will there be a list of items removed?  

Carol Pugliese stated that removal of Lou Ann Bowen’s personal items should not be    Lew Aabye’s responsibility.  Maybe we use a small group of the Cable         Advisory Committee to pack up.  We don’t      want to involve prior PTV     staff

            Betty Villari – wants someone from town hall

            Eileen Kennedy wants a signed a receipt of what was taken out of PTV

            Carol Pugliese – we compose a letter to Lou Ann Bowen.  See the Town Clerk after the                                   meeting

            Eileen Kennedy wants Lou Ann Bowen to sign a list saying this is out this is a complete

                        list of all my personnel items.

Betty Villari there are still things are in question – What items are at PTV that     Lou Ann Bowen hasn’t been reimbursed for yet.  Do we know that she paid?

Carol Pugliese -

The Ad for the Coordinator’s position went to Town Hall.  The ad will be out for           two weeks.

We and to ask Craig and Elissa  to the meeting on July 16, 2007

The sub-committee will meet at PTV    

Lock

Richard Silver will be at PTV to cover the locksmith

Discussion on why there is a lock box with a key – Lou Ann Bowen put that on over the            winter

Betty Villari asked who has keys.

In the past only people who signed the contract had keys
