Minutes April 17, 2003

Present: Catherine Russo, Lou Ann Bowen, Palma Ryan, John Hopkins

Also present media center coordinator Patricia Zur and Terry Siegel

Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:10

1) Discussed our office computer and needed software. Terry agreed

to meet with Gary to better understand the potential of what we have

and what we need

2.) Discussed hiring a locksmith to install a more secure lock in the center

3) Discussed developing a brochure . It was left in the hands of Lou Ann

and Patricia

4) Patricia reported that there was 11,080 in the budget to be spent

before June 30^th. We discussed the priorities for these funds,

including needed equipment and staff for training. More discussion

about obtaining financial support from the business community, ie,

donating equipment to the center

5) Discussion about the need to talk to other towns about Comcast changes

and policies and how to deal with them. Discussed the need to obtain more

education on how to read the Comcast license and proposed changes.

6)Catherine reported on her meeting with Michelle, the town grants administrator.
