1.
Minutes of previous meeting were reviewed and unanimously accepted as written.
2.
Director's Report: Brother Costa has left his COA custodial position. Diane
(through Valerie) made the suggestion that the board submit an article to town
meeting for a full‑time custodian. She would also like the outreach
position to go back up to 20 hrs/wk from the current 10 hrs/ wk to handle the
increasing crisis cases.
3.
Friends' Report: $3300. has been realized so far from the annual fund drive of
the Friends. There have been additional funds given for wheelchairs and three
chairs have been purchased.
4.
Old Business: A discussion between Mrs. Berman and hhe DPW director resulted in
possible shutters for the Grace Goveia building if there is money left over
from the recent building repairs. The Board agreed the article for a new full‑time
custodian should be submitted by the DPW director since it is for the entire
building, not just the COA.
5. New Business: The Gourmet
Cooking classes have been doing very well. The classes average 18 people, the
largest ever.
Date
of the next meeting: January 6, 2000.

Respectfully submitted,
Patricia Benatti, Secretary
