COA BOARD MEETING

New Chairperson comments.

Front sidewalk fixed and painted

COA volunteer, Mary Chatlis was chosen
Senior-of-the-Year. She will be honored
at a luncheon July 22.
·
Barbecue set for this Fri., June 10th.
·
In light of 2005 Town budget shortfall, bus service
will be rescheduled for once a week.
·
Truro COA Director, Cheryl Grenier, and her Board would
like to meet with our Director and Board to work on improving flexroutes.
·
No on volunteered to be the Salvation Army contact.

Annual Memorial Day Bake Sale brought in $841!!! Many thanks to F. Alexander. Chair to e-mail BANNER for a card of thanks.
SALT Council: None
Old Business:
· 2005 Board Goals submitted to Town Clerk.
· Still need an Elder Services Rep.
· Gail Browne to teach art in September.
New Business:
· 2 Month Calendar:
June 10th – art changes in dining room.
Fourth of July Parade
Plans: Have pick-up truck – can hold 6 people.
“Seniors have been Patriotic for a long, long time” Banner.
Theme: COA Activities: Wolfman – Chief, Vogt – Bingo/Cards,
Brennan – Artist, Howe – SALT
Will decorate truck July 3rd – Wolfman, Brennan, Charles
Senior-of-the-Year to ride in truck – banners on side doors.
· It was decided not to meet in July and August.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at
4:150pm. The next meeting will be held on September 8, 2005 at 3:00p.m. in room
#10 of the Grace Gouveia Bldg.
