The following are meeting minutes, in brief:
1. INSERT BALLOT QUESTIONS
MOTION:
Move that the Board of Selectmen vote, pursuant
to MGL C. 59, § 21C(g) to insert ballot question(s) onto the May 5, 2009 Annual Town Election as follows:

2009 BALLOT QUESTION
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to assess an
additional $115,500 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purpose
of supplementing the operating budget for the Public Services
Division/Recreation Department of the Town for the fiscal year beginning July
1, 2009?
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to assess an
additional $50,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the
maintenance and repair of streets and sidewalks for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 2009?
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to assess an
additional $50,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the
maintenance and repair of drainage structures for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 2009?
STM APRIL 6, 2009 BALLOT QUESTIONS
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to exempt
from the provisions of Proposition 2 ˝, so-called, the amounts required to pay
for the bond issued in order to purchase a new aerial ladder truck for the Fire
Department?
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to exempt
from the provisions of Proposition 2 ˝, so-called, the amounts required to pay
for the bond issued in order to purchase a new street sweeper for the
Department of Public Works?
