SPECIAL MEETING – WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2009 6 PM

Chairman Michele Couture convened the meeting at 6:00 PM noting the following Board of Selectmen attending: Michele Couture, Austin Knight, Mary-Jo Avellar, David Bedard and Elaine Anderson

The following are meeting minutes, in brief:

1. DEMONSTRATION OF AUTOMATED PARKING MACHINES

Town Manager Sharon Lynn introduced the Manufacturer and Local Distributer of the Metric Parking Meter, who provided a demonstration as to how the machines worked.

MOTION: Move that the Board of Selectmen vote to pursue a pilot parking program utilizing the Metric Parking Meter in place of the Ryder Street meters and adjacent Ryder Street Parking Lot.
