FISCAL BUDGET MEETING – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2009

Chairman Michele Couture  convened the meeting at 5 PM noting the following attendees: Board of Selectmen members: Michele Couture, Elaine Anderson, Mary-Jo Avellar, Austin Knight, David Bedard   

 

Other attendees: Town Manager Sharon Lynn, Assistant Town Manager David Gardner, Town Accountant Alexandria Heilala

The following are meeting minutes, in brief. 

 

MOTION:  Move that the Board of Selectmen vote authorize the submission of a grant application in the amount of up to $58,698 to the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Public Library Innovation Grant, 777 North Capitol Street, NE, Suite 500, Washington DC MA for the purpose of encouraging civic engagement through community forums, live  internet streaming of public meetings for PTV, upgrading the Town web-site with CivicPlus, and workshops on computer and web-site use.
