Chairman Michele Couture convened the meeting at 5:00 PM noting the following Board of Selectmen attending: Michele Couture, Elaine Anderson, Mary-Jo Avellar, Austin Knight, David Bedard

Other attendees: Town Manager Sharon Lynn, Asst. Town Manager David Gardner, Municipal Finance Director Alix Heilala

DOR Attendees: Barbara Dakin, Zack Blake, Joe Markarian

FinCom Members: Phil Gaudiano, Thomas Thurston, Walt Winnowski, Thomas Coen, Robert Vetrick, Ruth Gilbert, Ed Gage Freddie Biddle

The following are meeting minutes, in brief.

1. JOINT MEETING WITH FINCOM & DOR

Open discussion ensued with questions and answers from all participants.

Recommend that School and Pier Corp get on line with MUNIS.

Regionalization Committee – for the School – who is on this committee, etc.?

Tom Cohen – a member of the Steering Committee said they will be meeting tomorrow and will be reporting to the School Committee within the next few weeks. Tom explained a little background of the committee itself and what they plan to accomplish.

DOR – be glad to come out anytime. We came out of Provincetown much more optimistic than when we came in. This is one element of government people should be happy with Provincetown is not unlike many other cities and towns.
