  SPECIAL MEETING – WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2008

Chairman Mary-Jo Avellar convened the meeting at 2 PM noting the following Board of Selectmen attending: Mary-Jo Avellar, Michele Couture, Austin Knight, Elaine Anderson

 

The following are meeting minutes, in brief: 

 

The purpose of this meeting was to attend the Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency Public Hearing regarding Fishermen’s Wharf.

 

Each Board member spoke on the subject of not reducing the number of parking spaces at Fisherman’s Wharf.

 

MOTION: Move that the Board of Selectmen vote to send a letter to the Ian Bowles, Secretary, Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, Boston, MA respectfully and urgently requesting his assistance in resolving the matter involving Fisherman’s Wharf in Provincetown and the issue of its Chapter 91 licensing application with the inclusion of variances for Chapter 91 license.
