Beautification Committee Meeting

Old Business

Minutes approved for April 12, 2004. Motion by MaryAnn. Second by

LouAnn. Vote unanimous.

Follow-up to recycling plan: to approach Ed Boxer to request

proposal from students. Offer to infuse funds (several hundred)

into project if needed.

Plantings at Lopes Square in last Tuesday

New Business

Approval of money for plantings at Lopes Square put in by

Jennifer and crew and James. Total 364$. Motion to repay

James from operating budget made by LouAnn. Second by

MaryAnn. Vote unanimous.

Upkeep of community gardens: Cecelia cares for Community Ctr a

and Alden St/ Cumberland Farms. Suggestions discussed for

upkeep of playgrounds. Also islands planted by DPW.
