BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE MEETING

Meeting called to order 1:15PM

Old Business

Waterfront Park: discussion about use of remainder of BC budget at year's end for renovation at Waterfront Park. $13,150 presently in budget. Cost cuts have occurred in Lopes Square renovation as well. Motion by Robin to place remainder of our funds not used by

June 30 for designated projects towards Waterfront Park restoration. subject to committee's approval by June 30, 2004.

New Business

Motion by James to accept $25 donation to the Gift Fund from L. Hopkins. LouAnn seconded. Vote unanimous.

Motion by James to approve request for two six-foot benches by Barbara Rushmore. One in front of Grace Goveia building. Second on HS grounds parallel to Winslow St. Seconded by

Jennifer. Vote unanimous.

Membership application to committee from Cecilia Hall. James

recommended application for alternate seat. Seconded by

LouAnn. Vote unanimous.

Discussion of recycling bins. To meet with Sandy Turner about

implementing idea at Lopes Square and Waterfront Park.
