DPW Project Update-David Guertin
.
· Whydah-Rosemary Heard questioned David about the structural integrity of the building. The committee members have concerns about the Whydah possibly making claims about damage done to the building from the pile driving to be done in the near future. David assured them that Coastal Engineer did a structural evaluation and reported that the building could withstand the pile driving. Harbor Master's Office-David Guertin authorized FST to generate two drawings-then AGM can report a conceptual price.

· Pier Schedule- The demolition on the main pier should be completed within a few days. The approach end of the pier was started today and should take about 3 weeks. David gave an explanation on the tentative schedule for next summer. If float space 1 & 2A, 2B could be relocated then AGM can start the final phase of the project. The committee questioned pile driving in the summer. David responded that he felt most people would be glad to know that the pier would be completed way ahead of schedule if this were allowed.
