Animal Welfare Committee Meeting April 24, 2008 at Town Hall

Hanna, Nagle and MacDonald were present. Murphy was excused. Milkewicz was absent.

Minutes from February were approved 2-1abstention

MacDonald suggested meeting monthly for summer. No vote was taken.

Nagle: Dog park asked Cumberland Farms for access to 13 parking places. DPW still using space for storage and will continue to need storage on site. Donation of $3500.00 from Iams for bench. Candy Crawford is donating labor and material will be donated by Trex. Ellen Degenerous is starting a dog food line.

Search for poop bags: Elizabeth G. Brook took ours so we took hers. Appears to be the same number and approx. size.

Discussion to form coalition to apply for grants.

Hanna moved to adjourn at 4:00.
