Announcements –
Neva has written to Katrina Benneker about work by her
father owned by the town
Peter Garza has resigned.
Georgia Coxe will apply for full membership. She will call Peter Garza to get bronze
statue information.
Neva and Dick Caoulette hung some more work in the town
hall.
Neva has accepted paintings by Robin Hendick for the town.
They were left to the town in his will.
Posters- The final cost is $5,370.00. $1,912.00 has been brought in so far from
sales. Hopefully tourist director will
pay for her amount soon. Georgia
reported that framed posters are up at airport but that information should be
larger. Seamen’s Bank is displaying one
poster according to the season.
Fall Arts Festival-
slide show- Connie reported
that Laural Guadazno at the Monument Museum has asked her to give our slide
show on September 22 at 4 pm. Note: the show of portraits at FAWC for the
festival is in the works. Selina Trieff
has been picked to curate the show.
