7.Richard Pepitone Neva has
sent the letter drafted by Peggy Prichett to Richard Pepitone inviting him to a
meeting.
8.Brochures We need
more brochures at Town Hall. Neva will
approach the Tourist Board about some funds.
9.Treasurer’s Report Peter
Garza suggested that we have a treasurers report at each meeting as part of the
agenda. Peter Garza made a motion to
have a treasurer’s report at each meeting. Constance Black seconded. Vote was unanimous. Peter reviewed his report. There was a discussion of encumbered funds. So far we have a bill for the
plexiglass. Neva will get information
on estimates of cost of material that Julie Heller will provide. Peter Macara will be paid $12.00 an hour for
moving and hanging work. We will have
to estimate how many hours he will work.
10.Bronze Restoration Peter
Garza reviewed estimates on bronze sculpture restoration. It was recommended by several experts that
we do not use Stuart Dean who made the estimates. We have several names of good firms. We will see if the town can apply for a grant to bring someone
here to look over sculpture. This can
be done in the early fall.
Next Meeting
Wednesday, May 31 at 10:00 am at town Hall.
We will invite David Guertin to attend to discuss grants and bronze
restoration.
Meeting Adjourned 12:30 pm.
