ART COMMISSION MEETING- Tuesday, March 14, 2000

PRESENT: Constance Black, Neva Hansen

ABSENT:  Excused, Peggy Pritchard; Peter Garza (out of country); Michael Carroll; resigned

 

MEETING was held in Town Hall, Caucus Room.

 

As there were too few members present to make a quorum, an informal discussion ensued between Connie Black and Neva Hansen.

 

TOPICS DISCUSSED 

 

  1. Cataloguing of work-Review slides and organize

 

  1. Need for information on progress of work being done on restoration of paintings by Christina Bird.  Neva will contact Christina.

 

  1. Acquisition Policy

 

  1. Need to review work stored at Heritage Museum.

 

No votes taken.  All topics discussed had been voted on previously.  Next formal meeting should be held after town meeting.

 

We adjourned at 5:15pm
