Minutes of the September 19, 2002 Meeting

Meeting called to order at 3:02 PM by Chairman, Constance Black, members Stephen Borkowski & Peggy Prichett were in attendance. Absent but excused was Diane Shumway and Georgia Coxe, Terry Catalano was absent without notice. Present by invitation was Stefan Nofield, Town Clerk.

No minutes were available from the last meeting.

Gino Verzone of the Historical Commission did not attend as planned.

Connie Black initiated a discussion of the Fall Arts Festival (“FAF”) the logistics of moving the works from the Heritage Museum to the Town Hall for the exhibition the weekend of (10/4 & 10/5). The overall plan for temporary storage at Town Hall of all the works at the Heritage Museum was discussed.

Shelving, spatial requirements and security for the temporary storage space at Town Hall was discussed and the written suggestions of Robert Gambone were reviewed. After a thorough discussion, Stefan Nofield left the meeting.

A copy of the contract presented by Robert Gambone was circulated by Connie Black for review by the members, having been previously submitted and approved by the Town Manager. No objections were raised by the members of the Committee.

Peggy Prichett moved to adjourn the meeting and begin a work session of putting slides in binders, Stephen Borkowski seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 2:50 PM.
